What is GeoGebra

GeoGebra is dynamic mathematics software that joins geometry, algebra and calculus. It is developed for learning and teaching mathematics in schools by Markus Hohenwarter and an international team of programmers.

Objects, tools and commands

GeoGebra can work with mathematical objects of several types which can be created using tools or commands.

User interface

The main window is divided to views. By default Algebra View is displayed on the left side and Graphichs View on the right. Above these views there is a Menubar and Toolbar, underneath Navigation Bar can be placed. Many features of GeoGebra can be accessed via Keyboard Shortcuts. For higher accessibility GeoGebra also contains Virtual Keyboard.

Worksheets

GeoGebra uses its own file format and is capable of creating HTML interactive worksheets. Supported export formats include PNG, SVG, LaTeX, EPS, EMF and Asymptote.
