Midpoint Command
From GeoGebra Manual
- Midpoint[ <Segment> ]
- Returns the midpoint of the segment.
- Example:Let
s = Segment[(1, 1), (1, 5)]
.
Midpoint[s]
yields (1, 3).
- Midpoint[ <Conic> ]
- Returns the center of the conic.
- Example:
Midpoint[x^2 + y^2 = 4]
yields (0, 0).
- Midpoint[ <Interval> ]
- Returns the midpoint of the interval (as number).
- Example:
Midpoint[2 < x < 4]
yields 3.
- Midpoint[ <Point>, <Point> ]
- Returns the midpoint of two points.
- Example:
Midpoint[(1, 1), (5, 1)]
yields (3, 1).
