Instructions for translating GeoGebraBooks

First of all you have to make a copy of the GeoGebraBook you want to translate.

Title Page:

• Translate the Title of the GeoGebraBook.
• Translate the information on the Title Page (description, language and tags).
• Make sure that the Title Image is the same. If not, replace it.

Content:

• Translate the chapter titles (click on the pen).

Worksheets:

• Start now to translate every worksheet (click on the pen beside the worksheet).
• Translate the title of the worksheet.
• Translate now the whole text. After translating one part you have to click first on “done” and then on “save”. If you click first on “save” the text won’t be changed.
• Make sure that you translate every command and tool correct. Check them in GeoGebra.
• Translate the Worksheet Settings:

            -language
            -tags
            -short summary

• Check if the images work for your language. Replace them if necessary.
• Click on Preview to see the worksheet. Review your translated worksheet.

After translating all worksheets look again on every single one and make some last changes if necessary.

If you translate more than one GeoGebraBook check if any of the worksheets are already translated. Replace those in the GeoGebraBook.
