- RandomPoisson[ <Mean> ]
- Generates a random number from a Poisson distribution with given mean.
- Example:
RandomPoisson[3, 0.1]
yields a random value from a normal distribution with a mean of 3.
Note:
See also RandomBinomial Command and RandomNormal Command.
CAS Syntax
- RandomPoisson[ <Mean> ]
- Generates a random number from a Poisson distribution with given mean.
- Example:
RandomPoisson[3, 0.1]
yields a random value from a normal distribution with a mean of 3.
Note:
See also RandomBinomial Command and RandomNormal Command.
