This command works in CAS View only.
- NSolve[ <Equation> ]
- Finds a numeric solution for a given equation (or a set of equations) for the variable x.
- NSolve[ <Equation>, <Variable> ]
- Finds a numeric solution to an equation (or a set of equations) for a given unknown variable (or set of variables).
- Example:
NSolve[sin(x) = x]
gives you {x = 0}.NSolve[a^4+34a^3-34, a]
gives you {a = 0.99}.
