- FitLine( <List of Points> )
- Calculates the y on x regression line of the points.
- Example:
FitLine({(-2, 1), (1, 2), (2, 4), (4, 3), (5, 4)})
yields 0.4x + 2.
CAS Syntax
- FitLine( <List of Points> )
- Calculates the y on x regression line of the points.
- Example:
FitLine({(-2, 1), (1, 2), (2, 4), (4, 3), (5, 4)})
yields 0.4x + 2.

- See also Best Fit Line tool and FitLineX Command
- If you work with big/small numbers, you should consider normalizing them for a more accurate result, see Normalize Command.
