GeoGebra Conferences
- It would be great if you could join us in Seoul, especially if you are planning to attend ICME 2012. We organise a ICME Pre-conference in Seoul, Korea, just one day before ICME on Sunday, 8 July, 2012. If you plan to attend please register as early as possible, because we can accommodate maximum 100 people in the room.
- Ten years of GeoGebra: Registration is open for the GeoGebra Conference 2012 in Warsaw, Poland on 21-23, September, 2012. Join us to share your ideas with other members of the Community! The early registration deadline is 30 June 2012!
- Are you ready? The 3rd Northamerica GeoGebra Conference is coming soon, on 25-28 July 2012 in Mexico. Do not forget that the deadline for proposals is 25 May, 2012.
- We cannot miss Latin America from the list: Latin-American GeoGebra Conference Columbia 2012 which will be held on 2-4 Aug 2012 in Medellin, Columbia.
Development News
- We have released an alpha version of GeoGebraWeb-GUI (GeoGebra for Tablets) with an Algebra View, Input Bar and Toolbar. Please give feedback in the GeoGebraWeb Forum.
- GeoGebra 4 (version 4.0.30.0) has been released with bugfixes and a new language (Armenian)
GeoGebra 4.2 News
- The Python View will soon be removed from GeoGebra 4.2 beta, so you will need to use GeoGebra 5 Beta if you wish to continue using this
- New Turtle object in Python
- Alt-drag on a parabola to rescale it leaving the vertex unchanged
- New commands: ShowGrid, ShowAxes, SetTrace
- New JavaScript commands to allow drawing to an Image
- Can now export PNG/SVG etc from the command line using --export and --dpi
- The Input Bar will ignore accents when matching command names (eg. 'De' will match the command 'Dérivée' in French)
