This command works in CAS View only.
- CFactor[ <Expression> ]
- Factorizes a given expression, allowing for complex factors.
- Example:
CFactor[x^2 + 4]
gives (x + 2ί) (x - 2ί), the factorization of x2 + 4.
- CFactor[ <Expression>, <Variable> ]
- Factorizes an expression with respect to a given variable, allowing for complex factors.
- Example:
CFactor[a^2 + x^2, a]
gives (a + ί x) (a - ί x), the factorization of a2 + x2 with respect to a.
- Example:
CFactor[a^2 + x^2, x]
gives (x + ί a) (x - ί a), the factorization of a2 + x2 with respect to x.
