Training and Support

The host institution of GI Timisoara, Romania: "Tibiscus" University is implementing a project with cofunding from the Social European Fund through Sectorial Operational Programme Human Resources Development, 2007-2013 (POSDRU/87/1.3/S/62626). The amount of money allocated to this project was 1.1 million Euros, for 30 months implementation stage. Information on this project can be found at http://www.cptm.tibiscus.ro/ (in Romanian) A training center in multimedia teaching techniques was created and a GeoGebra training practical course of 12 hours was included. During the last year, around 400 pre-university level teachers of mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, technologies, economy, and even modern languages from the West and North-West regions of Romania were trained and obtained their GeoGebra certificates.
