Salvare le immagini come file

In questa attività verrà spiegato come esportare un'immagine da GeoGebra in un file. Rispetto all'esportazione negli Appunti del sistema, questa azione presenta vari vantaggi:

• L'immagine salvata può essere riutilizzata in un secondo momento, mentre la memorizzazione negli Appunti non ne consente il riutilizzo in una sessione successiva.
• È possibile impostare la scala dell'immagine, in modo che possa essere utilizzata dagli studenti, ad esempio, per delle misurazioni accurate.
• È possibile modificare la risoluzione dell'immagine, e di conseguenza ottenere un file più o meno "pesante". La risoluzione determina la qualità dell'immagine: per una stampa di buona qualità si raccomanda una risoluzione abbastanza alta (circa 300 dpi). Per caricare l'immagine su un sito Web di solito si desidera un file di "peso" contenuto, quindi può bastare una risoluzione di 72 dpi.
  Suggerimento: dpi significa "dots per inch".

• È possibile determinare il formato dell'immagine. GeoGebra offre vari formati per l'esportazione delle immagini: il formato predefinito è Portable Network Graphics (png), ottimo per l'inserimento di immagini nei software di elaborazione testi e presentazioni.

Creare l'immagine

Creare una semplice costruzione con GeoGebra: ad esempio utilizzando lo strumento Poligono regolare per creare un quadrato, pentagono o esagono nella Vista Grafica.

• Attivare lo strumento e fare clic su due punti della Vista Grafica per definire il lato di base del poligono regolare.
• Digitare il numero di vertici (ad es. 6 per un esagono) nella finestra di dialogo visualizzata, quindi fare clic su OK.

GeoGebra esporta per impostazione predefinita l'intera Vista Grafica nel file dell'immagine: è quindi necessario ridurre la finestra di GeoGebra per rimuovere lo spazio non necessario per l'esportazione della Vista Grafica:

• Muovere la figura (o la porzione necessaria) nell'angolo in alto a sinistra della Vista Grafica, utilizzando lo strumento Muovi la Vista Grafica.
  Suggerimento: È inoltre possibile utilizzare gli strumenti Zoom avanti e Zoom indietro per preparare ulteriormente la figura per l'esportazione.

• Reduce the size of the GeoGebra window by dragging its lower right corner with the mouse
  Suggerimento: The pointer will change its shape when hovering above an edges or corner of the GeoGebra window.

Exporting a picture as a file

Use the File Menu to export the Vista Grafica as a picture:

• Export – Vista Grafica as Picture
  Suggerimento: You could also use the key combination Ctrl + Shift + P.

• If you want to you can change the settings in the appearing window (picture format, scale, resolution).
  Suggerimento: Always check the size of your picture (in cm or dpi). If your picture doesn’t fit on a piece of paper you might need to modify your figure prior to the export. This is especially important if you want to keep the scale of the picture for the word processing or presentation document.

• fare clic su Save and save your picture in your GeoGebra_Introduction folder. Your figure is now ready to be inserted into any word processing or presentation document.

Inserting Pictures into a Text Processing Document

After exporting a figure from GeoGebra into a picture file you can now insert it into a word processing document.

Inserting a picture file into MS Word

• Open a new text processing document
• From the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group select Picture.
• Select your picture in the appearing dialog window.
  Suggerimento: You might have to navigate through the folders in order to find it.

• fare clic suing the Picture button inserts the picture at the position of the cursor.

Reducing the size of pictures

If necessary you can reduce the size of the picture in MS Word:

• Double fare clic su the inserted picture.
• Change the height/width of the picture using the Size group on the right.

Note: If you change the size of a picture, the scale is modified. If you want to maintain the scale (ad es. for your students to measure lengths) make sure the size of the picture is 100%).

Note: If a picture is too big to fit on one page MS Word will reduce its size automatically and thus, change its scale.

Inserting a picture file into OO Writer

• Open a new text processing document
• From the Insert menu select Picture – From File.
• Select your picture in the appearing dialog window.
  Suggerimento: You might have to navigate through the folders in order to find it.

• fare clic suing the Insert button inserts the picture at the position of the cursor.
