- Variance[List of Numbers]
- Calculates the variance of list elements.
Example:
Variance[{1,2,3}] yields 0.67.CAS Syntax
- Variance[List of Numbers]
- Calculates the variance of list elements. If the list contains undefined variables, it yields a formula for the variance.
Example:
Variance[{1,2,a}] yields \frac{2(a²-3a+3)}{9}.
