Variance[List of Numbers]
Calculates the variance of list elements.
Example: Variance[{1,2,3}] yields 0.67.

CAS Syntax

Variance[List of Numbers]
Calculates the variance of list elements. If the list contains undefined variables, it yields a formula for the variance.
Example: Variance[{1,2,a}] yields 2*(a²-3a+3)/9.
