Mean[ <List of Numbers> ]
Calculates the arithmetic mean of the list elements.
Example:
Mean[{1, 2, 3, 2, 4, 1, 3, 2}] yields 2.25.
Mean[ <List of Numbers>, <List of Frequencies> ]
Calculates the weighted mean of the list elements.
Example:
Mean[{1, 2, 3}, {3, 2, 5}] yields 2.2.
Mean[ <List of Class Boundaries>, <List of Frequencies> ]
Calculates the grouped mean of a data set with given classes and frequencies.
Example:
Mean[{10, 20, 30, 40}, {2, 2, 4}] yields 27.5.

CAS Syntax

Mean[ <List of Numbers> ]
Calculates the arithmetic mean of the list elements.
Example:
Mean[{1, 2, 3, 5, 44}] yields 11.
