- Mean[ <List of Numbers> ]
- Calculates the arithmetic mean of the list elements.
**Example:**`Mean[{1, 2, 3, 2, 4, 1, 3, 2}]`

yields*2.25*.

- Mean[ <List of Numbers>, <List of Frequencies> ]
- Calculates the weighted mean of the list elements.
**Example:**`Mean[{1, 2, 3}, {3, 2, 5}]`

yields*2.2*.

## CAS Syntax

- Mean[ <List of Numbers> ]
- Calculates the arithmetic mean of the list elements.
**Example:**`Mean[{1, 2, 3, 5, 44}]`

yields*11*.
