ImplicitDerivative( <f(x, y)> )
Gives the implicit derivative of the given expression.
Example:
ImplicitDerivative(x + 2 y) yields -0.5.

CAS Syntax

ImplicitDerivative( <f(x, y)> )
Gives the implicit derivative of the given expression.
Example:
ImplicitDerivative(x + 2 y) yields -\frac{1}{2}.
ImplicitDerivative( <Expression>, <Dependent Variable>, <Independent Variable> )
Gives the implicit derivative of the given expression.
Example:
ImplicitDerivative(x^2 + y^2, y, x) yields -\frac{x}{y}.
