Here is a quick guide an how to establish a GeoGebra Institute Website like the Austrian GeoGebra Institute running Wordpress
Step 0
(For those who do not have any Webspace or own an url) Get in touch with zoltan@geogebra.org to install a Wordpress-Installation within the GeoGebra-environment. (www.geogebra.org/institutes/)
Step 1
Install a new Wordpress Installation on your Webspace and go to Step 2 ;-)
Step 2
Install the following Wordpress Theme: GeoGebraInstituteTheme here and activate it.
Step 3
Edit the header.php under Design-Editor in the Wordpress-Backend: You have to change the Homepage-URL and the Header-Picture (Format: png, exact 500x83px)
In Addition you have to go to the following section and change the url-adresses and Language of the GeoGebra-Mainpage menus to your needs beyond.
Step 4
(Additional)
- For the Functionality of the Trainer Map like on the AGI-Homepage you have to install the Leaflet Maps Marker plugin from the Wordpress Plugins repository and configure it
- For the functionality of the forthcoming Dates Module you have to install the "'Google Calendar Events'" plugin and configure it. (You have to run your Schedule with Google Calendar)
- For the functionality of the Contact Form like at the AGI-Homepage you have to install the "'Contact Form 7'" plugin and configure it.
