- Registration is open for the International GeoGebra Conference in Linz, Austria, from August 29th - 31st. Join us to celebrate the release of GeoGebra 4.0 and share your ideas with other members of the GeoGebra community!

- The 60th GeoGebra Institute has been established in Mexico-City.
- 7 students are working with GeoGebra as part of "Google Summer of Code 2011" who will help us as we shift the focus of development to GeoGebra 5
Development News
- Edubuntu 11.4 with GeoGebra 3.2 included now released.
- Mr L.’s blog about the ‘slimmed down’ GeoGebra Prim version: for new users it is easier to use.
- Many bugfixes and small improvements to GeoGebra 4.0 Beta, including:
- Filename autocompletion for File -> Open etc
- You can now include Unicode characters (eg Arabic) in LaTeX texts
- You can now draw an Implicit Curve through specified points eg ImplicitCurve[ {A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I} ]
- Second Graphics View is now fully working
- Navigation Bar has been put back
- GeoGebra 4.0 now fully translated into Spanish, Portuguese, Hebrew and Italian
- GeoGebraMobile: work on Implicit Curves is underway and work on 2 Graphics Views is almost finished.
- We will start testing GeoGebra soon
