This command differs among variants of English:

- ScientificText( <Number> )
- Displays the number in scientific notation
- Example:
ScientificText(0.002)gives 2 × 10-3.
- ScientificText( <Number>, <Precision> )
- Displays the number in scientific notation, rounded to the number of significant digits specified by precision
- Example:
ScientificText(e,5)gives 2.7183 × 100.
