*****You can structure the report as you wish, the following headings are just pointers***** The Instituto GeoGebra de Galicia (IGG) was founded in November, 2010. It is part of the Asociación Galega de Profesorado de Educación Matemática (AGAPEMA).

People

Along the year 2011, ten new members are associated. Actually there are 24 members of the IGG.

Training and Support

• Elaboration of material for the virtual in-service training course (30 hours) “GeoGebra: redescubir a xeometría” (February- May, 2011), sponsored by Department of Education of the Xunta de Galicia.

• Different members of the IGG have developed the previous course.

• Participation in the Conference of ENCIGA, Ensinantes de Ciencias de Galicia (17-19, November, 2011), with two workshops: one of introduction to GeoGebra entitled “Toma de contacto con GeoGebra 4. Elaboración de materiais curriculares de matemáticas para secundaria”, and another for middle level entitled “Secuencias, macros, listas,... con GeoGebra, posibilidades ilimitadas”.

• Organization in collaboration with the Mathematics College of the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, of a Presentation of GeoGebra 4 in Galicia and the Gauss Project, given by José Luis Álvarez (17, December, 2011).

• Participation in the Conference “15 Jornadas de Aprendizaje y Enseñanza de las Matemáticas”, with the workshop entitled “Lo lúdico con GeoGebra o cómo trabajar las listas y secuencias”.

• Participation in the Conference “II Jornadas GeoGebra de Andalucia”, with the workshop entitled “Secuencias, listas, macros, ...: posibilidades ilimitadas”.

• Participation in the Science and Technology Day, on the occasion of the International Year of Chemistry, with the workshop entitled “Aplicacións de GeoGebra ás Ciencias”.

Development and Sharing
